

Winemaker & owner, Patrick Stowe, originally from Napa Valley, combines a scientific background in biochemistry with traditional winemaking techniques to craft expressive wines that showcase Nelsons unique terroir. Since founding the winery in 1995, he has remained hands-on in both vineyard management and winemaking. Patrick also oversees the Rimu Wine Bar at Mapua Wharf, where visitors can enjoy Rimu Grove wines alongside a curated selection of local and international wines, craft beers, and spirits.
